Timely upgrade for Discovery Parks – Port Augusta
In the “Golden Triangle” of South Australia, our Port Augusta property just celebrated the first anniversary of a major accommodation and dining hall upgrade.
Little did anyone know, that a year from launch, our new facilities would prove invaluable during the global pandemic that is COVID-19. Like all businesses, the way we operate has been impacted by the pandemic, and this rings particularly true for the provision of workforce meals.
The improved dining hall facility has enabled us the space and facilities needed to offer a more contactless dining experience. From the way me manage check-in to staff training, bolstered cleaning and hygiene practices and the use of PPE, we’ve adapted the way we do business to maximise the health and wellbeing of our guests and staff.
In recent months Port Augusta has remained busy and the 36 new standard rooms have been well utilised. These rooms were relocated from our Darwin property and provide a home-away-from-home for our valuable workforce guests.
